Hermann Theis sets up the company, developing and manufacturing levelling equipment and accessories

1938

Theodolites are developed and produced

1947

The sons of the company's founder, Gert and Hermann Jnr., join the firm

1957

Mould manufacturing department is founded.
Injection moulding and dies are manufactured for the automotive industry and for opto-electronic and sanitary facilities

1958

New company building

1969

Buildings are extended

1970

A start is made with injection moulding technology

1983

Harald Theis joins the firm

1985

The first construction laser is developed

1986

Buildings are extended

1990

A new branch of the company is set up, special fabrication Individual customised parts/assemblies and installation work

2012

A new production facility is set up for mould manufacturing.
The company divisions are extended to include surveying equipment and special fabrication
