The Vivax vScan Rx M is designed for the precise location of buried cables, pipelines and sondes in demanding field conditions. Thanks to its robust ABS housing, intuitive 2-button operation and compass direction display, locating work can be carried out quickly and safely. Weighing just 2.2 kg, with an operating time of up to 12 hours using alkaline batteries or up to 50 hours with the optional Li-ion battery pack, and an integrated 4 GB data storage, it is ideally suited for extended deployments. The locating frequencies can be freely configured to meet individual requirements. A vibration alarm combined with acoustic and visual warnings alerts the operator to shallowly buried lines, signal overload, overhead lines and excessive swinging of the receiver. The optional Bluetooth function enables wireless data transfer to the free VMMap app. The vScan Rx M additionally offers a metal detection function for locating buried manhole covers, valve caps and marker stakes.
